Get To Know Me

Meg McGarrow

is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a nationally certified school psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders, as well as those with cognitive impairments, ADHD, learning disabilities, and mental health diagnoses.

 

Meg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University, a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in School Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston.

 

Throughout her career, Meg has worked in various roles within the mental health and education fields, including as a counselor specializing in children and adolescents in educational settings. She has a deep understanding of the special education system, having served as a student services coordinator, special education chairperson, school psychologist, and autism consultant in both private and public school environments. Meg’s diverse experience and credentials enable her to create effective, individualized strategies that help children and families thrive.

Spectrum Behavioral Consulting offers a range of services that empower families, schools, and individuals to achieve success through tailored ABA interventions. Our goal is to create meaningful change through collaboration and effective strategies

Teaching social thinking, perspective-taking, making friends, flexible thinking, social behavior mapping, and navigating social situations like dating.

Social Coaching

We offer in-person and virtual ABA-based education and coaching for caregivers of children with special learning and behavioral needs. Our parent coaching also includes guidance on school advocacy, understanding the IEP process, and addressing disability-related issues.

School Consultation & Assessment

We work closely with schools to create individualized behavior plans tailored to each student’s unique needs. In addition, we equip educators with practical strategies and tools to effectively manage and address challenging behaviors in the classroom
